This page explains how BruhBoard is designed to behave in V1.
Input Monitoring
macOS Input Monitoring permission is needed because the app reacts to keyboard input outside its own window. The app uses this permission only to detect that a key press event happened, so it can play a short sound.
The app does not save, log, transmit, or analyze typed text, typed characters, keyCode values, modifier keys, focused app names, or focused window titles.
The app is designed as a local sound toy, not a keyboard logger.
Payments and license delivery
Checkout is not open yet. When purchase opens, payment information will be handled by the selected checkout provider, not by the BruhBoard app.
The app does not contain payment credentials or private signing keys.
In V1, license keys will be issued manually after purchase. Delivery may not be instant.
